It has been a very long search for blogs, and it is not because it is hard to find library blogs, there are too many! It is a jungle out there.
The rss reader
I started using igoogle, but soon it became too messy, so now I only use igoogle to follow my friends blogs. Blogs that I use in school and at work I follow in google reader.
The blogs
The first blog is Steven's Lighthouse, also mentioned by Néné.
The second one is iLibrarian, it has a post about Twitter, and allthough, some people in the class find it hard to use, including my self, I'm sure Twitter is going to be the next big thing...maybe.
I'm very much in to danish libraries, I love them! So in my search for blogs, I have tried to find a danish blog in english, but have not succeded.
But I got a good tip from a colleague of mine. And with the talk about libraries at the beach last time in class, I would like to recommend this blog called Tame the web.

Librarian blogs, RSS
For getting RSS feeds from sites I'm interested in, I use igoogle. I used to have the feeds in Thunderbird but I considered web space to be more handy. I'll soon try Bloglines, seems to be better for organizing feeds from larger number of sites.

- Another blog, Library Gang has more contributors from field of our interest.
- I found some more blogs by librarians, who somehow contribute to Library 2.0, for example ShiftedLibrarian Librarytwopointzero

I have chosen to subscribe to bloglines.com. I have never used a RSS reader before so I am still exploring what the possibilities are…
The page technorati.com helped me find interesting blogs about library 2.0. The blogs I will follow are these 3 blogs:
M. Farkas’s blog
Maybe too obvious, but she seems like an important and interesting person when it comes to library 2.0
Michael Casey
He is commenting on different library 2.0 issues (and now also on a certain US election…)

It seems like an interesting site, and it seems to be updated often.
The page technorati.com helped me find interesting blogs about library 2.0. The blogs I will follow are these 3 blogs:

RSS and blogs
I most often use my iGoogle and my blog as a RSS-reader. I also use Google Reader, but I've placed it on my iGoogle.
I'm curious at Bloglines, and want to check it out.
I think it is a blog-jungle, and I don't think I just can find blogs to subscribe. I use serendipity, when I see something interesting I use Del.icio.us or RSS to follow up, and often I can go even further from what I've found. I'm not a very good english-reader, and have to use a lot of time to understand what a blog is about. There are other things I think is more interesting, than searching for blogs in english, but of course I've found 3 :-)
I chose blyberg.net because it seems very professionel, and he has been blogging since august 2005.
Like Néné I'm interested in Mary Ellen Bates - if she is writing about something, it might be worth looking at. I also found links to Phil Bradleys blog many places.
I also found iLibrarian by Ellyssa Kroski. It seems to be interesting as well.
At my blog I've allready had Blog on the Side - Darlene Fichter, as Caroline also linked to, and Sociale teknologier i biblioteker, a danish student from DB who had a course like this, last year.

iCarolines RSS feed reader
I just created a really 2.0-ish iGoogle complete with pictureslideshow, librarysearch, Wiki and blogfeeds. Took me hours to choose the background and I´m still not quite satisfied. I´m such a girl.
Ruths bling bling blond blog.....
To start with I signed up for the RSS feed from the course blog, and then installed igoogle, very smart and very very easy to use.
Then I tried to find three interesting blogs that mention or write about web or library 2.0..and the first blogger I found interesting was a librarian named David Lee King.
Then on my way, came Lauren who is also a librarian, and blogs about different things, among her different post on the blog, there is a lot about web 2. 0.
Finally there is the social networking librarian, Annalaura Brown. Her main interest is library 2.0.
Thats all for now.

Exercise with RSS and Library 2.0 blogs
As mentioned in class yesterday, the hands-on exercise for next week is about RSS feeds and library 2.0 blogs.
Please make a post on this course blog before noon on Thursday Nov. 13 containing the name of the RSS reader you use (for example. Bloglines.com or Google Reader). Just the name of the RSS reader is enough. No links necessary :-)
Also add links (and short descriptions) to at least 3 different blogs on Library 2.0 topics you will follow through your RSS reader. The Library 2.0 blogs should be in English so the whole class can understand them :-) The blog topics could be about Librarian 2.0, Childrens' Library 2.0, or other (perhaps mixed) Library 2.0 topics.
As part of the exercise you should also use the widget at the upper-right of this course blog to subscribe to new posts and comments from the course blog through your RSS reader.

Of I go to the web 2.0 jungle
Last Friday we were asked about which web 2.0-applications we use in our daily life and I was taken a bit off guard, because I have never really considered if I use web 2.0-applications and what kind. Nevertheless I took on the challenge to find out and share it with all of you here on this blog. To make it a bit different I have chosen to write my contribution as a diary – a diary of my internet life.
Monday morning, damn it’s a beautiful weather – will this last the entire day? I log on to my customized iGoogle where I can see the weather forecast, and yeah, it will be a marvelous day, for once without an umbrella. At the same time I check my Google calendar and plan my day. Then, while eating breakfast, I check out my RSS-feeds from www.politiken.dk and www.borsen.dk and read the latest news. Whoops, once again time flies by and I have to be at work in half an hour. At work it’s a busy day with meetings and a lot of assignments. At lunch my colleges and I always make up the “today’s question” and the challenges is who can find the answer the quickest – you can probably imagine that it’s quite important that I win as the only librarian in the department. The question today is when was Barack Obama born? Once again Wikipedia comes to my rescue and state that he is born on 4th of August 1961, I’ll just have to werify it from another sources. Unfortunately I wasn’t the quickest, but probably the most thorough :o) Later on a college of mine ask about Google features and I show him Google labs. On the site you can find all different kinds of prototypes/beta versions from Google – a recommendable technology playground! At 5 pm I take the bus home and after shopping for groceries, I fling my self on the couch with my computer. As my daily ritual I log on to my Hotmail, Messenger and Facebook. On Facebook I have posted an announcement for an event to celebrate the launch of the Christmas beer and a lot of people have responded that they will attend. I have never really understood until now, how big and efficient a marketing tool Facebook really is.
As I browse through this text I realize that my usage of web 2.0 sites is not really impressive or innovative, so my plan is now to explore the web 2.0 jungle and try out some of the sites you all recommend – I think I’ll start with del.icio.us, Flickr and Go2web2.0. So of I go to the jungle…
