Me and Lina have now sent out our questionnaire to your school mail
and we would like to have them back before Thirsday 24:00.
You can send it in return from the school mail or some other mail, it
doesn't matter. The only ones who will see them are me and Lina.
When you fill in the questionnaire you only have to follow the descriptions
we sent in the mail.

knowledge sharing in student projects
Great if you in the spirit 2.0 of the course themes could help one another with ideas, feedback, references etc. for the student projects :-)

Skype in class?
Does anyone in class have Skype on their laptop? With good loudspeakers and microphone?
I'm asking because Néné in London suggested she could do her presentation on Friday over Skype - with me showing her powerpoint slides meanwhile.
Could be interesting to see if it could work :-)

Lina and I were wondering if you want to help us fill in a small questionnaire that we later on will use in our project. The questions will be about blogs and wikis in a learning context. It would be very helpful for us and will not take many mtrouble
inutes to fill in.

And Lennart, Lina and I are well aware of the fact that we are free-riding on your blog for this guestionnaire task, but we are only doing it because everyone in the class are using it and will see this, and because we had trouble to come up with a way that it would work if we posted it on facebook.

Supervision etc.
Thanks for all the project statements you put on Google Doc or sent to me the last days.
Really some interesting topics that I look forward to discussing more with you :-)
Due to loads of other work, Mikkel and I have not completed the list yet - alas - of who will get him or me as supervisors. Hopefully, I can tell you more tomorrow :-)
The 5 foreign students visiting the school and the course have already been notified that I will be their supervisor.
I plan to put up a 'booking list' tomorrow so you can choose what time to get supervision.
Really some interesting topics that I look forward to discussing more with you :-)

Deadlines for problem statements and student presentations
(This posting was also just put on the course web)
As mentioned in class last Friday there are some deadlines coming up with regard to your project paper and student presentations.
Deadline Monday 17.11 at 12.00 noon: send me an email (LB@db.dk) with a topic and preliminary problem statement for your project paper. The problem statement can of course be improved and refined also after the 17th :-)
Also put your topic and preliminary problem statement on the shared Google document:http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dzh99j3_5dw7jrcc2&hl=en
Please also let me know in your email and on the Google Doc if you consider to write the project paper together with others in class.
Depending on how many groups (and thus papers) there will be in the class, you will get supervision from either me or Mikkel Christoffersen (teaching on 21.11). Mikkel also teaches and supervises about Web 2.0 topics.
You are 23 students on the course and I have around other 35 students I supervise this semester, so I alas won't be able to supervise all of you.
Whether it will be Mikkel or me that will be your supervisor we will decide as soon as we know what topics and how many group papers and individual papers there will be.
The sooner you let me know about topics and group formations the sooner we can decide who will supervise whom :-)
As soon as we have decided it will be possible to get supervision from Mikkel or me - in all cases it will be after the 17th and before Dec 2 when the next deadline is - see below.
There will also be possibilities for supervision in the weeks after the student presentations on Dec. 5
The next deadline is Tuesday 2.12 at 12.00 noon: send me an email with an attached brief powerpoint presentation. Shall contain no more than about 5-6 slides giving a brief overview of: your motivation (why is this topic interesting?), your preliminary problem statement (what specific problem about the chosen topic do you want to analyze in the project paper?), your preliminary methodological considerations (what methods do you want to use to analyze and answer your problem statement?), your theoretical approach (what literature - found so far - do you want to draw upon in order to analyze and answer your problem statement?).
The powerpoint presentation should not take more than about 6-8 minutes in order to give place to feedback - also from students. Depending on the number of papers and groups, there will be around 15-20 min for each presentation including feedback on Friday 5.12 where we use all 5 lessons on these presentations and feedback. Hopefully there will also be course cake that day :-)
